Bonds ties Aaron with #755

Barry Bonds tied Henry Aaron’s career MLB home run total of 755 with a second-inning shot to left on Saturday in San Diego.

755

Joe Sheehan of Baseball Prospectus reflects on the reaction in San Diego to Barry Bonds’s 755th career home run.  I’m not sure the typical road crowd would turn the event into a mad riot but I am glad that the San Diego fans showed some class.  It takes a Roseanne to trigger a torrent of boos, not a record-tying home run.

And fuck you Bud Selig, you ignorant, self-important hypocrite.  Stay home and watch your Brewers implode.  I wish the San Diego fans would boo YOU out of the ballpark.
